At the Forum AGM in March we agreed that as part of our neighbourhood plan for Iclekenham, we should apply for free professional help to develop our own masterplan for the Tesco (Master Brewer) and Morrisons (Ruston Bucyrus) sites.
This work is one of several projects that we’re currently working on for our neighbourhood plan.
Our application to Government for support has been accepted, and planning consultants\architects AECOM have now been commissioned to provide technical support in the form of masterplanning and development of design guidance for our neighbourhood plan.
The Forum will be working with local groups, residents, businesses and the London Borough of Hillingdon over the next few months on this project. We’ll be considering, amongst other things, the mix of uses, densities, design and green spaces.

Worth noting that after local consultation, our neighbourhood plan needs to pass an independent examination before proceeding to referendum. One of the tests at examination is whether the plan is aligned with the key ‘Hillingdon Local Plan’ policies. The relevant Local Plan policies are shown below:
